The Wee Wonders Open Golf Championships was founded in 1995 by Alasdair Good at Foxhills Golf Club, he is currently Head PGA Professional at Gullane Golf Club. The event rapidly grew to become the only tournament with fully national coverage for children in the age range 5 to 12.  It provides an opportunity for entry into competitive golf both for children new to the game and for the most experienced young players.  In 2016, there were 46 Regional Qualifiers held over 9 holes in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales leading to the Grand Final in St Andrews, the ‘Home of Golf’.

In 2016 we expanded to 54 Regional Qualifiers, 9 Regional Finals and a Grand Final and from 2017 we will continue to expand.

This years Grand Final will be held once again at St Andrews, the ‘Home of Golf’ on 25 and 26  August 2018.
